Easy lock Q

I just took my car into a local stereo shop to get my second amp running. They compliement my stereo, ask about my wheels, ask if I work in town. Being an idoit I tell them where I work. Two days later (tonight) a car pulls up next to my car and a guy pushes my car testing for an alarm. An employee luckily out by his car sees this and starts to approach. They all run to the car and take off.

My question is this..............
I have three locks on the wheels including the McGard Spline. A casino customer that works at Les Schwab tells me that it is no problem to steal my wheels. I think he does not know what he is talking about, cuz I come from South Park White po dunk town. I think it would be rather difficult to get my Volks with the McGard

Should I worry.

I think I am going to get an alarm this weekend with a perimeter alarm.

What do you think?

The wheel locks are only a deterent not a gaurantee. If they really want your wheels they can get them off. Invest in an alarm if you're paranoid. Maybe one that pages you.

Would it be easy like this guy is saying? He said it would be a piece of cake. I have a hard time believing that.

It's very easy. I won't give details but I could have his wheels laying on the ground in less than 10 minutes.

With three wheel locks and the McGard Spline, wow.

I would have to destroy 12 sockets to do so.

You'd be amazed at how many people lose their wheel lock keys, any person who has experience with wheels and tires should be able to.

Like someone said above, it's just like a car alarm.. A deterrent.
