Toe In/Out alignment advise.

I have about 5K mi. on my 05 G35 coupe and started to notice the growl noise when stopping or slowing down. I then looked at the tires and noticed a slight indication of outer tire wear ( feathering ). You can hardly notice it, but can feel it when you run your hand across the tire threads. I do not want to bring it to infinity, so I decided to make an appointment at a shop that specialized in suspension & alignment.

Does anyone have any advise or specs that I can give the shop. It goes in Tuesday.

Thanks,

Thanks,
"Outer edge"
The problem is usually with the inner edge...

If it's only drivers side then something is def wack with the alignment....
Or something has been bent.

Hit any bad pot holes??

All I have heard and experienced is inside wear. If you have only one tire wearing like that for sure you have done something to knock it out of alignment or something is badly worn out.
Good luck getting it checked.

Tire pressure is fine. Car drives straight. But you can hear a growl noise when slowing down or breaking. You can also feel were it is starting to feather. WOW I thought many people experienced this.

I got my car back from the shop today. I had - toe on the frount left. The right was just a tad off OEM spec. The right rear was way off. I think when Infinity fixed the rear axle noise they messes up the rear aligment.

if you lowered it then its because of the Negative Camber / \ and toe is postive.. if not then if its feathering problem its ur toe if its just wear then u should check your camber.. if your car is lowered i suggest the front control arms or coilovers that'll let you adjust camber and rear camber arms..

if ur car is stock then i suggest you get your wheels balanced and align again. I have OEM alignment specs if you want to bring it to an alignment shop
