Stoptech BBK... feedback from experience please?
The modulation is very much still present.

gooo with these breaks! I dont have em on my car yet to show pictures but THEY TAKE FOREVER if you order from someone that doesnt already have em in stock! that is the ONLY drawback about this kit. BEAUTIFUL breaks and like Tinman and jdj27x is 100% dead on. hope this helps....gluck

Oh
, the stoptechs are lovely i only got the fronts BBk and painted the rear brembo's the same color but they look bada** and perform really well especially with my 20" Volk. if people weren't peeking at my rims before they definitely are now. It's funny to catch em looking

In fact, going to a larger BBK might actually hurt your stopping distances as the new, larger rotors are usually heavier (especially going from the non-brembo brakes to a large 14" kit) thus increasing rotational mass.
this is going from my personal experience.same car, same driver, same route, same driving habbit, difference brake kits.i wish i can prove it by using some measuring devices but the fact is i can't.
hey,you might be right.

so you're saying by upgrade the BBK,there's no improve in performance? spending a few grands just for look? how about other companies? Brembo,Rotora,Wilwood,AP racing? if so,you might want to create a new thread and make it sticky.
I think the only way you can stop quicker is to go with more pistons like an 8 or 10 caliber piston brake system other than that the bigger rotors just dessipate more heat, better for the track or extended braking conditions. No matter the company! They still look bada**.
I have the AP Racing brakes from Stillen which I have had a few issues with. One is that the rear rotors sits outside of the brake dust cover which means my caliper sticks out a little further and in turn I need more offset and not so deep of a dish. The other problem I have is squealing of the brakes. I am going to change to a different brand of brake pads and see if that helps. Bottom line is if I had to do again I will go with stoptechs.
