Unhappy Front Suspension Clicking Help..please

I know there is a discussion on suspension / rear axle clicking noise..

but for me, i have sth clicking big time in the front left suspension
especially if i am going thru bumps.. or making any moderate to hard
right turn..

do you guys know what's the problem? i will take it to the dealer on
monday tho..

i thought it was just clicking.. but when i rolled my windows down and tried to hear it...it was so loud, (sounds like sth is hitting my fender protector real hard.. and i can feel it on my dead pedal)

regards,
Mans

check to see if your strut mount nuts may have loosened, or the center
piston shaft nut.

is there any photo to the two nuts that you are menitoning, ken?
since i am really a newbie to suspension...

i am gonna take a look tmr.. and then if i can't find anything wrong
i would have to see what Infiniti of Yorkville can do..
but usually.. it takes them long (after Jerry has left..)
to arrange an appointment.. I even doubt that if they will give me
a loaner....

thanks alot Ken

godmans- I don't have picts, but if you open your hood and look towards the back of the car, on your left there is a black cover for your battery all the way in the back.

Just in front of that, you will see 3 nuts on the chassis holding the
strut top mounts (12mm). Those need to be snug tight with a small
wratchet (about 25-30lbs)

In the center of those 3 nuts, you will see another nut on the piston
shaft. that nut needs to be hand tight to about 45-50lbs. Use a med
wrachet.

If you don't have extended sockets you might not be able to reach
those.

Do the same on the other side of the car. If those are pretty tight,
my next guess would be endlinks and swaybar brackets.

Oh Ken, i have checked those before and they are tight (wtihin spec)
Today, i have brought my to the dealer..and they found that a part
of the fender protector came loose, that's why there are some bad
clicking noises when i am cornering or going thru bumps..

thanks alot everyone and especially Ken the suspension specialist!
