FF Coilovers

FF Coilovers
I was looking at these Function & Form Coilovers for the G35C and I was offered at 950/set, custom Spring rate and revalving.
I wonder if I should get them? Seem like a good deal. People been saying that they have these on their cars for 2+ years w/o problem? They're new in the market, but use the same factory line as those HKS, etc. (except for Tein where they use a diff scale).

I can understand the alure of seeing something that specs out well at a really great price. But what you end up with was designed on a computer with low cost valving construction and no actual drive time R&D. All cricical element's that the big names give you, sadly many lack the ability to sense when these hot price setups, really don't deliver on their promises or worse they lack the stomach to admit what they bought didn't measure up.

update, my friend actually went to F2AutoLife to test test drive their cars, especially the Red G35 posted in the Picture Share forum. And here's his feedback (given that he's also a car enthusiast for years)
"ight...just got back from the shop an hour ago....
both Rob and Preston are pretty damn cool guys. anyway, got a close up look at the products and the G35C...
the coilovers. aesthetics alone, they look pretty damn f*cking badass!! craftsmanship/build quality... feels and looks pretty damn solid and well assembled. none of the parts seem like they were manufactured from cheap materials. the fit on each component is pretty damn tight and pretty precisely put together. 24point adjustability on dampers...and approximately 3inches in height range.
G35C..... car was pretty friggin clean. it was sitting on 20s and dropped pretty low. there was still probably another 1" to 1/2" left to lower if wanted... but that would not be worth the hassle. set at the middle damper setting, the ride is not harsh and bone-jarring and neither is it soft. pretty much like stock feel, but with a definite noticeability in the increase firmness.
pricing is pretty competitive with other brands. and seriously, what impressed me the most was the quality and fit and finish of the final product. both guys were straightforward and honest.
im now considering to canceling my backorder for the FMIC and getting these coilovers that way i can lower my car 1/4" more to completely get rid of any gap and also replace my current shocks that are probably going to go out on me later this year. " 95Sir - He owns an Audi A4 1.8T. from Honda-Acura.net
From what I heard, he said that this set perform like Tein Flex for the price of the Tein Basic. Plus, they're backed by 1yr warranty. So it doesn't hurt to give it a try.
I will place my order within 2 months. Anyone else is interested in a GB?
