Arrow *Pic Request* Stock suspension with aftermarket 19 inch rims

I will not be able to lower my ride right away, and I was wondering if my car will look like a 4x4 if I have aftermarket rims with a lip, but at stock height?

Thanks in advance

I dont have any pictures of mine, but i ordered and installed 19x8.5/9.5 DB Volk GT-7s on my car, 245/35/19f and 275/35/19r and there was a definite increase in height, while it didnt look like a 4x4, it definatly looked odd. Luckily im sitting next to a box of 350z H-techs going on this weekend . Springs are only a little bit more and do wonders in the realm of appearance, spend an extra 150$ or so and get it lowered when you get the rims.

What springs give the least amount of drop? I do not want to sacrifice too much of the ride.

I am in the same boat as you. Thanks for posting the pics. Unfortunately I cannot see them at work b/c of the filters, but I will check them out when I get home later.

Same here, can't drop my car...My wheels should be on in a couple of weeks, I'll take some pics.

Most people ask me if my car is dropped already, so I don't think it'll look bad.

Nice pics BTW, those volks look sweet!!!

Everybody in this thread get the DB GT-7's?

I'll be a hair lower eventually, but no reason to rush into with the '05 sport tuned suspension.

New corvette is a hot car and is NOT slammed and it looks good as is. I think the G looks good with stock height and 19"s and a tad sexier when pro-kited.

Still looks good--especially since the gap is less noticeable on a black G--the sidewall, fender "air", and black paint match, if that makes sense

btw, don't you need to debadge your avatar

Yeah... I know. I was debating between gunmetal and black, and when we called Mackin about availability, they said they had one set of black 19's in the right size and offset left in the US. So that helped make my decision!
