I picked up and installed my Stillen Strut Brace today. I originally started a GB which ended up not going thru. I got mine from everythingG35.com It took about 2 hours total since I just took my time as I always do on any mods. It was pretty easy. It DID require drilling which I was not ready for and did not know when I purchased this but it was fairly easy to line up the spot. I had a drill and the perfect size bits so it all worked out. Getting the trunk lining off was a PITA. Getting the brace into the brackets was a pain. I scratched the ends of the brace up pretty bad with a hammer but I don't care because you won't be able to see that part anyways since it's hidden in the lining. Everything else was fairly easy. It looks nice... can't say if I feel the difference because it's been wet out so I haven't gotten a chance to actually see if it got tighter in the rear or if it has less flex. I will post pics tomorrow and if it stops raining... I'll check if it's actually worth 155 bucks.

any reviews on this bar as far as functionality?

also, can you still get to your spare tire with that bar installed? i think
so, but just want to make sure.

The coupe had a tiny trunk to begin with, now you don't have a trunk, but a second glove box!

lol... so noone has this now? no comments?

not sure if that bar makes a difference or not. the area that the
bar attaches to imho is kinda flimsy...not a true strut tower bar.

I've had it for a while and honestly I don't think that it does much. It's just not rigid enough. You can flex it by hand with medium effort. It does look good and might add a little stiffness, but I'd like to see a higher quality more rigid bar.

You'd need something more like the stock Z rear brace. Now that thing is beefy! There's a reason why the Z is the dedicated sports car while the G is more a of a GT car.
