How different is the Z rear brace attatchment compared to ours? Any possibility using the Z?

i believe the Z towerbar actually supports over the rear shocks
where as the stillen is like a connection between the flimsy trunk walls.

Nice thing about Stillen, you can download instructions before your buy anything, and see exactly how difficult it is.

well, i saw their instructions and thought the mounting area was not
sufficient to make any difference in chassis rigidity.

I was talking about knowing you might have to drill.

yah, i wasn't really worried about the drilling part, but where the
bar was to attach on the car overall.

I feel this bar made a difference. It is not completely stiff because I was able to move it a tad by hand but if you consider where it is connected then it does greatly reduce the rear flex. It is a wide open space in the trunk so ANYTHING in there would help.

As far as the GT-SPEC bars, I passed on those since they seem redundant considering where they are mounted.

No way i can give up the pass through. I'd never be able to fit my 17's with R-Comp rubber inside for race days!
