Will I Rub!!! Heelp!! Volk Sf Challenges In Db!!
I ordered a set of DB challenges 19x9.5, 19x10.5 +28 and +23...(from F1) and was told they would rub on my G35 coupe w/ 245/35/19 and 285/35/19 BFG TA KDW2s....can any of you guys verify this??
I know a member on my350z boards w/ a 350Z who has this same setup (Same offsets/sizes but different brand tires) who ran 285s (Falken fk451) in the rear and was even lowered and did NOT rub. I dunno why I am being told by 2 differnt shops that I will rub!

the kdw2 is a pretty fat tire. i am running with the same rim width and offset in the rear and i rubbed with my s03s with a 275 tire in the rear. the guys at F1 tend to know what they are talking about.
the falken tires that i have seen are not quite as meaty and the sidewall curves in more, thus no rubbing. i am no expert but i hope this helps!

with the bfg's, you might rub if you decide to lower your car. if you leave it stock swamper height, you won't rub. it will look Big Foot ish though. yes, Falken's offer awesome clearance as their tires aren't as Big Foot ish. i think you should just run the Falken's instead. or, go with 275/35 bfg's if they're available.
