19's look fine without drop... Even a .5 inch drop makes a good difference tho

Its not expensive for the springs-- I'd just invest a few extra bucks since your already dumping for the rims

no, if your gonna get one of the only volk rims that comes in 20", then get it in 20" and it will look just like a 2005-2006 G35 coupe with the stock 19's

i dont think it's gonna look weird.
i am not a big fan of lowering because of driveway, etc.
if you have money tho, get coilovers
otherwise, in order to reduce gap, get springs...they are pretty cheap(couple hundreds)

Either a drop or you need a kit for some ground effects.

arent u gona need new shocks after a while if u just get springs? so y not jus save and get coils?
plez correct me if im wrong... like i love the look of the drop buhh jus thought it would be wiser to get coils.... the spings are softer allowing the gas shocks to compress more which will shorten the life of the shocks.... none the less it really looks hottt tho

BTW .... i live in JerZee.... JerZee and NYC roads..... nuff said

If you decide to drop your ride, you might consider any potential alignment issues and fixes, as well.

If your going to lower your car, save up money to either install coilovers or a nice spring/shock combo. It's not always a good idea to have lowering springs on stock suspension since they are not made for that purpose. Plus you don't have to spend all that time to reinstall everything again.

I'm not too familiar with the common setups, but I searched the forum, and some are saying Tokico D Spec, and Tein H-Tech.

I know that on my previous car, I also had Tokico w/ Tein S-tech and those worked well. So it's always good to ask around and see what others are recommending, because everyone has a certain driving style and want a certain type of comfort.
