G35 Front Strut Tower brace
What kid on performance change
I was wondering how this STB changes performance on a G. Has anyone tried this around town or on a track, I know it is extremely new to be tracked but hey Scott is in CA not Idaho right?
Does it stiffin up the front too much or make it more responsive? How is the turn in affected?
I am interested but would like to have some more feedback on driving impressions.

The idea of a strut tower brace is to improve chasis rigidity. I'm sure this STB does accomplish that task. The question is how much? Does it make a noticable difference when driving around town? Or is it only noticable on the track/auto-x when pushing the car to it's limits? For $400, I would surely like to know the answers to these questions before I spend my hard earned money. Looking forward to more impressions, info.
I have put several miles on this STB now. I felt the difference right out of the driveway. The chassis flex is MUCH better, I knew it was an issue with the G's, but I never knew just how much of an issue until now. This car was needing a STB bad, IMO. Having this brace installed lets the suspension do the work it was designed to do without all the chassis flex getting in the way. If you have a upgraded suspension it really lets you utilize it much more. Turn in is much more sure footed and accurate with this brace. I had a strong feeling that these cars needed a strut tower brace, I just never knew just how bad.
Track testing and impressions are next (Friday) stay tuned.....................

I have stillen tower braces on my 99 max - front and rear - much needed in that chasis and it made a world of difference.
The G35 may not need it as much- but after having driven a 350Z recently I am excited about potentially flattening the G's turn-in to come closer to a Z's handling.
do we place orders directly thru wa2good?
Also - is there potential to design a brace for the G's rear suspension as well?
thx

I only see only one connection on the strut tower as well. How sturdy is this? If you grab this strut brace, and really bounce it hard are we bouncing the car, or are we flexing the brace?

Props for taking the time/effort to R&D and put this product out. The G community has been needing it for quite some time now. Unfortuanately, due to the price, it's out of my price range. Guess I'll have to wait for one on the used market eventually...lol...
