i was on the highway, going 120km (miles?). All the sudden i had to stop due to traffic up ahead, i noticed when i pushed hard on the brakes, the car started vibrating and took time to stop. For a Sec i was sure i was going to hit the person ahead but i was 2 inches away from the guy ahead in the stop. My car just jamz when i apply brakes when the car is going slow, it only vibrates when stoping from high speed. am i the only one with this problem or is there a way to prevent this problem again? do i need to upgrade my brakes and if do which onces? If i'm going on the highway and i have to stop all the sudden i dont think i can stop from what i seen. My foot was all the way down and still i couldnt make the G stop.

im guessing you're not talking about the ABS pulsing through the pedal, but
your cars physically vibrating through the brakes...right?

if so, i think you may need to get your rotors resurfaced (turned) and
pads checked.

 

I would agree. If the vibration is mostly in the wheel your front rotors are the likely culprit.

The spec for rotor runout is 0.001" ,....looking doesn't tell you much, you must measure.
