G35x Suspension ?
We all know that they don't make any aftermarket springs/shocks/struts for the x.
So, my question is does anyone know the differences between the suspensions of the X and the RWD ?? different Springs ?? Shocks ?? etc.
I am an X owner and heard from somewhere that the X suspension is a little stiffer to compensate for the extra weight. Can anyone confrim this ?
Thanx

I spoke with a couple of members that are knowledgeable about suspension's(Gsedan35) and no one was exactly sure if oem AWD X shocks are as firm as oem RWD sedan sport shocks or softer. They think that it's really doubtfull that they are stiffer.
That is my main reasoning as to why I went with the unrevised 350z OEM springs.

The G35X and FX both use a different front suspension. As such your front shocks are totally different and your front sway bar is too. Oddly enough even though the front shocks are different and cannot be interchanged, your X can of course use oem springs from RWD G's and Z's.
The only way to you upgrade your shocks is to either see about running FX45 shocks (question would have to be if they are really a upgrade or not) or to call Koni and see about a "wet kit" A Koni wet kit is where they take your oem front shocks, gut them and install Koni internals.

Would there be an advantage of getting 350z springs?
as far our suspension being stiffer...dont think so. when i drove the loaner car the dealership gave me, it didnt feel as 'bouncy'.
