Bleeding brakes

I see that the G manual says to bleed Right rear ---left front---left rear----right front... in that order

but my friend as well as others I'm sure have always been taught to do the wheels that are furthest away from the MC which usually means doing the rears then moving to the fronts.

I assume the way listed in the manual is correct?

According to StopTech

"Begin at the corner furthest from the driver and proceed in order toward the driver. (Right rear, left rear, right front, left front.) While the actual sequence is not critical to the bleed performance it is easy to remember the sequence as the farthest to the closest. This will also allow the system to be bled in such a way as to minimize the amount of potential cross-contamination between the new and old fluid. "

It usually doesnt make that much of a difference in what order you bleed the brakes, but the way we have it listed on our website is a good rule of thumb. If your manual says to do it otherwise than by all means follow those rules if it makes you feel any better.
