I am going to try to get some brembo claipers for my 06 G and I was wondering if the Z OEM Brembo Caliper are the same as the G?? and would they work with my G?

If it was my own personal car, I wouldn't do that type of brake swap.

The 05+ G35/06 350z have a very different brake system than previous model years. The pistons in the calipers are tremendously larger than before. Larger caliper pistons put out more brake torque. If you were to go to a 03+ OE brembo setup, there would be less brake torque at the wheel. This doesn't function well with the electronic systems such as ABS, Stability control and traction control.

Our sources have said that the 06 350z's got the same treatment as the 05 G35's, no brembo option.

 

You won't need Brembos for street driving other than the bling factor. Just get a good set of pads.
