Just to keep this thread alive I'm also thinking of getting the Basics aswell from Teins.

Seems like everyone is getting the springs only as the easy way out....

been on them for about a month now. ride quality is not bad even w/ the coils all the way down (front sits a bit lower). I got a killer deal on them and its definately a good setup to hold me off for a while until i find or can afford a nicer set. I didn't care much for the adjustability as I usually leave them on a set setting anyways. only complaint is that I wish it would go lower on the rear.

I've had mine for well over a year and i like the setup very much. Now if all you want is more aggressive spring rates and the ability to select your ride height, then this set is well worth the money. There's no dampening adjustment, so if that's important to you, then look for a different setup. The progressive spring rates will sacrifice some of your ride comfort and you will have to get a sway bar as well due to the weight transfer and how low you go with it. The sway bar will really put the mod together, if you don't already have one.

I love mine. Had mine for close to over 2 years now. The ride is a bit bumpy and stiff on the road. If you can tolerate it, go for it. They work great on those "twisty" roads.

I have them but I wish I had the cs instead. If you have the money get the cs with the edfc.

you can control dampening of the coils from inside the car with EDFC. not ride height adjustment just dampening.

I've had mine on for over a month now and am loving them....I even think they are not stiff enough......I think down the road i'll go with tein flex coilovers....but my next mods are front stb and a true dual exhaust!!!!

i just made the switch from cs to flex. flex is way too stiff for daily driving, and i do have the edfc unit. unless your area has newly paved roads and has a history of maintaining them, avoid flex. basics are a bit stiffer than cs, but softer than flex.
