Thanks - Joey Avino

Didn't bother to read this whole thread but I'll contribute anyways.

all you need to do is lubricate the rear axles at the outer-most flange and reinstall. Infiniti recommends Molykote M77.

I notice a click when I shift from Park to Reverse or Park to Drive when the engine is cold. The click definitely comes from the rear of the vehicle. I don't hear the click anytime after that. Do you think the click is transmission related? or has to do more with the Rear axle and the TSB that this thread pertains to?

This is on a 2005 G Coupe with 62k miles.

I have the Infiniti TSB papers. It states as follows;

Applied Vehicles: 2003 - 2005 G35 Sedan (V35)
2003 - 2005 G35 Coupe (CV35)
If you confirm:

A "clicking" noise is coming from the left and/or right rear axle (driveshaft) when accelerating from a stop,

Remove the driveshaft, clean the flange surface of the outer joint on the driveshaft and apply a moderate coat of molykote M77 grease.

Damn clicking

^Same prob as amsterdamned. I have an 06 coupe 5 A/T with 17,250 miles, and I hear a clicking noise when going from park to reverse, reverse to park, reverse to drive, and etc. I have noticed this noise, for a lil bit, but never tripped on it. I noticed in the other post that this applies up to 05, but how about the 06? Still under warranty, I only have 5/16 spacer, and SxExCx grounding kit. Will the dealer take care of this issue? Has this been addressed before? Apologize, if so? Thanks.....
