Smile Question regarding CALIIPER position

Just a random question, can we rotate the position of the caliper on the install? Like can we have it "standing" vertically or diagnolly or from the 3 o'clock position of the rotor vs. the 9 o'clock as we wish by rotating the rotor during the install?

I'm sorry if the description is horrible, please bear w/ me =)

TIA

No, the caliper attaches to the bracket and the bracket attaches to a fixed point on the spindle. Why would you want to put it somewhere else anyway? Just for aesthetics?

im sure if you made a bracket you could, MAYBE !!! But even if you did Infiniti put a lot of R&D into the braking system to have max stopping distance and cooling in the location its already in... so messing with it could result in less braking performance

Right, for the BBK kits, they provide a bracket that just extends out from the stock mounting position where the oem caliper bolts too.

Caliper position

The position of the caliper has NO bearing on performance, If you had it
horizontal it would be hard to bleed, only limit besides bleeding would be interference with the shocks , springs , arms etc. ALso if it were on the bottom it would sit parked it water, slush etc.
