Any interest in a ArizonaZCar Wilwood BBK Group Buy?
There's been a lot of discussion lately on the Wilwood brake kits and there seems to be a few people who are intereted in the kits that Dave @ ArizonaZCar has to offer.

But in order to have a GB he would have to become a sponsor of this site. If there's enough serious interest we could talk to Dave to see if wants to become a sponsor and organize a group buy for perhaps some sort of discount on the already low prices. So anyone who's seriously interested?

Yup, you're exactly right Cato. I asked him about it today and he said no because his prices are already so low. So I just put my order in. You guys are welcome to try to get a GB going if you want. No sales tax for me rules! I got the 4-pot Front Kit and an extra set of the brakes pads all for $1174 shipped. We talked on the phone for a while and he gave me lots of good install and maintenance tips. He was even concerned with the wheel fitment issue which I assured him was not a problem for my scenario. Good customer service so far. Once I get my kit sometime next week I'll definitely post up pics of all the contents of the kit and any wheel fitment issues. Then I'll update when I do the install. Can't wait!

let us know what the driving experience is like. i was talking about wilwoods with someone earlier today and they commented that not getting the brake dust out properly in this kit causes problems. who knows what the real world experience is and since i'm local to you, maybe we can go for a spin sometime?

Was that person talking about ArizonaZCar kits in particular or Wilwood kits in general? And can you explain about the bit of "getting the brake dust out properly"? I'll be attending a HPDE this month the 28th at Reno Fernley. Hopefully I can install them before then. I should have a real good driving impression after that. These brakes combined with R Compound tires should work wonders. And yeah I can give you a spin sometime.

i believe he was talking about wilwood kits in general. i wasn't entirely clear on what he meant but i think he was making a point about air circulation and brake dust building up instead of getting dispersed like it would on another bbk. i dunno i think others have had good experiences with the arizonaZCar kits so it's probably worth trying out.
