H tech spring question (help a n00b)
I've been searching the board for information, I don't know a whole lot about suspension and such. It looks like the Tein H-tech is the way to go for keeping the suspension as OEM as possible with more of a drop. I'm running the stock 18"s, and I think I will for the next year or so. With the H-tech, I won't need to change the struts or anything like that will I? Are there any long term ill effects using the H-techs? After a few months I'll need to get my alignment checked out right?
I don't need a crazy suspension system, so after reading the reviews these seem to be the way to go.

1. No you dont have to change your struts... but they will go bad after time... the stock struts are not made for lowering springs.
2. You can wait around a week to get your alignment (i think most people do it after a week)
3. Most people go with Tokico D specs when they get a strut and spring combo
Myself i plan on getting springs once my wheels come in... but after a few months of saving im going to buy coilovers

I have th g35 h-techs with d-specs. Rides great with alittle more performance. You can feel it in the turns, also the softer spring rates in the rear are a plus, the weight is shifted to the back end when you step on it, you can feel the rear wheels dig in. If you go with the d-spec make sure to install the damper screw extensions before assembly. Fully damper adjustable, so you can have over/under steer to your liking.
IMO the g35 h-tech are way too soft in the rear and is gonna make your car understeer like crazy, if you want something that will handle similar to stock but a lil lower, then def go w/ 350z h-techs
