Great, for the kits, all you have to do is Click "add to cart" and it'll lead you to our website, once you add it to the cart, it'll give you your pricing for different shipping options.

I've *quickly* scanned this thread and sincerely apologize in advance, if I've missed this question being asked (if already asked and answered).

If I upgrade from my OEM Brembo's to this kit - how much un-sprung WEIGHT am I going to be ADDING instead of taking away. I noticed that the Calipers even though being the same POT (4 in frt / 2 in rear) are MUCH larger than the OEM Brembos that I have. Heck, the rear 2 pot is the same size as my Brembo 4pot fronts!!

I want to get these - loving the color and just the overall bulky size, but doesn't ADDING un-sprung weight sort of defeat the purpose or does it only really dictate on the track rather than street (ie, meaning I won't notice the added weight or will I?)

Thanks Guys!

the weight of the calipers isn't likely going to amount to any detriment... I've never held Brembos, but the difference in weight can't be enough to be concerned with...

The rotors on the other hand are atrociously heavy! I went from non-brembo sized drilled & slotted (maybe 15lbs or less, great for drag racing) to OEM G37Sport (Alebono rotors) - the twice as heavy weight made a notable difference...

So if you are concerned about performance, the rotational mass of one piece rotors for this kit will make you cry.

^ Yeah, I was thinking that already and have plans on getting 2-pieces for frt and back, but was worried about the added caliper weight as well. What the heck, I'll just do it and weigh everything and post my findings for everyone. These akebono's are certainly even nicer looking them my OEM Bembo's - which I think look fantastic to begin with - so I'll def get these.

Thanks Guys!

Let me update my post....

Where can we find 2-piece rotors (frt and rear) for these Akebono's?

I think COZ mentioned that they are making 2-piece rotors but haven't been released yet??
Is that right. Are there other 'vendors' that make 2-pc that will fit for these Akebono's guys?

Thanks Guys!

The rotors weigh in at about 30lbs a piece. The calipers can't be a huge difference from stock. I'm sure official numbers are listed around the forum somewhere. "Akebono weight" in the search brings up a ton of threads.

I'm curious as to the drawbacks of having heavy rotors. I understand the added weight to the axle, and I imagine it takes a bit more power from the drivetrain to get the wheels turning. For those of you who have the 30lb rotors, how does the car feel? Slower launches? Cornering issues?

(Side note, I purchased the BBK with the 30lb Stoptech rotors, but haven't installed them on account of the 80+ inches of snow we've gotten this season)

Just click on "add to cart" link of the kit you choose, and it'll provide prices and shipping cost options.

I installed the full kit about 4 weeks ago. I haven't tracked it yet, but in DD I haven't noticed any difference in handling or acceleration, etc. with the heavier rotors. BTW I went from the 06 OEM(non-brembo) .
