after we overlook the fact that it's a BMW, we can admire those rotors!
we're proud to be apart of one of the recent StanceWorks features, having built a set of Brembo, pattern-match rears for the this 7.
more on our program here: www.adamsrotors.com/PMP with a link to the feature above.

I'm trying to order from your site, however when I try to order a front and rear set, the quantities shown in the shopping cart remains at 1 front and 1 rear, instead of 2.

Any thoughts?

sure...that's because we only sell our rotors in pairs, hence the term axle.
all is well...you'll get a full set of 4 if you order F&R.

Do you have standard solid rotors without drilled holes or slotted? I didn't see any.

^ we're not in the business of selling blank rotors...it goes against our entire business model.
plus we're all-inclusive...our machine patterns, silver zinc, and shipping are all included in our pricing.

lastly, there is no benefit to going blank...at the very least one should choose our basic slotting...the benefits are great & it's a killer mild look.

I read an online review saying that the zinc coating will wear off on the parts of the rotor that makes contact with the pads.

So my question is this: do you have pictures of what the black and gold coatings look like after part of it comes off?

...and it's openly explained on our very own website.

as posted in our FAQ's:

"do the gold or black zinc rotors stay black forever?"

the colored zinc will only remain on the NON-pad contact areas for the life of the rotor. the face of the rotor will of course wear silver instantly upon the initial bedding process after install from friction, leaving a very subtle accent color (and more importantly corrosion protection) on the remainder of the rotor. (hub/hat, dimples, slots, vents, etc) this is the same for ANY zinc dipped, rust protected rotor, but with black/gold, has a very nice aesthetic touch behind a custom wheel/painted caliper.
we have pictures mixed in all over our customer gallery...

What are the benefits then?

heat dissipation and glaze avoidance...

with braking, heat is the enemy...if you are on a spirited drive, long downgrade, or in a track or autocross scenario, hot brakes will begin to fade...the slots help keep them cooler longer. (on this same note we recommend upgrading to our stainless branded lines & quality brake fluid)

glazing is also a common issue, and 8 times out of 10 the true culprit for everyones misinformed "warped" diagnosis. pad compound can build up on the rotor face and give the same skip & shutter symptoms as a warped rotor, when in fact they are not. this should also be paired with quality pad, and we have two offers we highly recommend.

Do you make rotors for 2006 GTO's as well?

If you do, can you PM me a base price for drilled/slotted, black rotors.

over 2 years ago, Adam worked closely with a small letterpress company to design his personal business card image.
the design is entirely his concept, put into reality by an old-timey hand crafted plate maker, Fortress LP, using the original techniques of letterpress printing from the early 1900's.
the end result is very much Adam's personal style and was a huge hit once completed...

after years of people asking and a design worth using, we've finally decided to press out some AR shirts.

we'll be using a top quality, standard fit, heavy cotton black T-shirt with white screening on the chest, big front & center.
it will be tagless, including a custom AR logo & size image on the inside neck as well.
these are pressed out of a high quality studio in Southern California who does many of the surf & skate brands up and down the state.

here's a sample of the image itself...

once the shirts are finished and delivered to the shop, we will shoot them on a model and get them added to the store.
we are taking pre-orders now if you want to snag one as a part of the first run...it's a small starter batch for family, friends, and loyal customers; so act now to lock one down.
we will be doing more to come, eventually in white and maybe some tank tops as well.

they will be available in S, M, L, XL, and XXL for $30 shipped USPS priority, within the US.

email/PayPal for pre-sale: orders@adamsrotors.com
