DS Rear Caliper 03 base coupe

My caliper is dragging, only 70k on the car. I do not have Brembos, so it is likely best that I stay stock, generic etc...

Paypal ready, PM me as well thx

Have you bled out the caliper thoroughly? Sometimes simply flushing clean brake fluid into the caliper is enough to limp it along for another 10k miles or so.

A new set of slide pins at your local parts store is only a few $$ too. Take out your old pins, spray down the hole with brake clean to remove the old lube, put some marine/axle grease on the new pins then bleed the caliper as cleric670 suggested. Might work, might not, probably worth a shot? Good Luck!

Well the "correct" answer is to replace with new or rebuilt calipers but sometimes you need an immediate band-aid to get it going again.

I've got a full set of Brembos with rotors, just pulled from my 04 coupe.

I can have them in the mail within a day.

If only one side is very obviously hanging up, do what you got to do but if not, clean all moving parts on all 4 and check to see if the piston(s) retract. If everything's moving, use Sil-glyde to slap it all back together then bleed the whole system. Great time to get new pads and slotted and/or cross drilled rotors and then pull the vdc relay. You'll still have ABS even though the dash lights will argue to the contrary. I did all these things close to two years ago and as a result the rears don't get so much hotter compared to the fronts and the amount of brake dust on the wheels is about equal front to back.
VDC likes to retard your driving skill or lack thereof by constantly applying the rear brakes among other method(s). It's obnoxious and the reason so many had problems in the past with abnormal rear brake wear. The rotors get heated up from the calipers forcing the pads to ride them which causes the metal to expand thus exacerbating the problem. With minimal drag you'll get better mileage, longer lasting brakes, cleaner wheels and quicker acceleration as well.
An upgraded BBK looks great but is a huge waste for the street. They'll retard your acceleration due to more mass, with said mass being further from the hub, adding to rotational mass, the primary reason Dodge ditched big brakes on the demon.
