OKI NAWA....
lastly it is ridiculous to lease anything for 12 months....it is retarded actually!

Reconsider your statement. It might make sense in certain situations.....

For example, I had a fully loaded 04. I had 12 months left on it. (15k miles yr)
I got the fully loaded 06 and did a 12 month lease. (18k miles yr)

It was basically an even trade.

This 12month is great. You have to work the system right man.

how long is the 12month lease good for? dealer told me till tommorow but not sure if that was to get me to buy

I am new to the whole leasing, but I am interested in getting a coupe.
I got a sort of quote on from Riverside, they had a special and asked it was negotiable they said it wasn't. The deal is total drive off 2,642.50 (includes 1st payment) and 399 a month 12k miles. The MSRP is 40,680 (IP coupe/stone prem, navi, sports suspen) the cap cost 38,418.39, Residual 83% (33,764.40) is this deal any good? I am kinda limited in close dealerships cause of Montclair

some dealers we charging that for base coupes -- we only ordered 1 base coupe out of 400

$299 x 12 months is for the auto w/ premium.... for the sports package, aero package it'll just be a few bucks more a month

you can put part of it as a down payment or to pay the taxes and fees or you can get a check for the remainder of the difference in your credit.

Hey Kenny,
Is there any truth to 12baller's opinion about Athens Blue? Is it a less desirable color? And do dealers try harder to get rid of them because of it? Personally, I think Laser Red and Athens Blue are the best colors out there. Tell me like it is...what's a dealers take on the color issue? Do you offer bargains on certain stock colors?

Is this available everywhere? Just found this thread. Haven't ever checked the Buying and Leasing section. I was planning to get an '07 sedan, because I can't wait and need a car... but this would be the perfect plan.

I live in San Francisco, CA. Gonna check out the dealer and ask about this tomorrow!
