Looking to pick up a used 6MT. I think i am going to look around the 2004-2005 model year range.

Are all the 6MT's 298HP? Were the earlier models ever 280HP or have they always been 298 since the G35 debuted?

Also, off topic but i've seen some new 350Z's at the dealership and really like the new wheels. I think they are 19's. WOuld they swap over to the G35 directly? I like the simple 5-spoke wheel design and think it would look great with some crossdrilled rotors and larger brakes.

Also, what years got the Brembo Brakes on the 6MT?

 

2005+ 6MT's are 298 hp...2003 and 2004 6MTs are 280 hp.

Should be able to swap the 350Z rims without a problem.

2003 and 2004 6MT's have the brembo brakes. They were discontinued on the 2005+ models.
