Talofa!

so after a week of searching, researching, test driving a g35x, and atleast 3 hours per day of reading what i searched for....

http://www.angelfire.com/md/TOWSONFTBLPLYR/g35SS.JPG theres the proof... not just saying i did all that.

right now, i'm kinda stuck between a G35X and a G35RWD sedan.

for me sedan would be mandatory in many ways... i might be the smallest in the fam, but def not the smallest in terms of the avg public. i;ve read a few posts of people saying they are 5'10 and 185, and 6'2, but no weight. put it this way, i was 12lbs 1.5 oz at birth, and the last time i saw 200lbs was 7th grade.

now for reasons between the two cars... its split between stability, especially in snow and rain and availability of mods.

G35X basically have little to NO suspension mods, and from the latest posts in april and may, arent any plans.

the RWD sedan, has most of what the coupe has.

now i live middle east coast, and the snow here is hit or miss. it can be 2 feet or 6 feet depending on the years. its still metro area (towson, outside of baltimore) so near cities retain more heat than country area, but a main concern is that i;ve never had a RWD car before. i know i must go test drive one, and i test drove the mustang which was way too small to fit comfy, but with working full time and part time, and still training in professional wrestling 3-4 times a week, schedules been tight. so i'm just seeing if anyone in snowy or wet areas has any legit feedback.

cars i'm coming from that i still own are 95 opel calibra 2.5 4wd v6, 83 cadillac cimmaron, and with me up here is a 99 chevy cavalier which doubles as a daily driver and weekend autoX car.

my first question mainly, is how many of you use your RWD sedans IN SNOW, HEAVY RAIN areas, or year round, and what problems if any do you experience?

the dealer ship has suggested going with an X, which costs more, but not really too much an issue if need be, since this area gets snow, unlike more southern areas.

Next, there were two posts that came up for the 03 cooling fan swap or change to an electric fan setup. do many of you feel thats worth doing? as of right now, my thoughts are buy an 04-06 and be done with it. i know the 07 is coming out soon, october according to the dealer and nov according to some on here, but i wanna shoot to get this car before winter, and pricing on the 07 isnt really helping that happen. any views?

i'm not new to modding or anything. actually been doing it since 98 when i bought the cavalier. it was a good car to learn basics on and during the time i;ve actually worked with a few companies in getting parts prototypes, such as a camshaft from crane cams, pushrods as well, and a few suspension parts. i can admit fully, i;ve wasted money plenty of times, in the sake of learning, such as 700$ in a single year in alignments at 50$ a piece, testing adjustments, and even having 11 intakes and 7 different exhausts and dynoing most at 66$ per session.

when it comes to modding i;ve never been afraid to fail or screw up, but this time around its a more expensive car and i just wanna pick the most effective platform for myself to start with.

much thanx for anyone who can help.
