Used 2006 G35C - Possible Demo Car

Hello. I just joined this site in hopes of getting some advise on my next car purchase.

Im looking to get a USED 06 G35 Coupe (could swing an 05 if its signficantly cheaper). I called a dealer in the 14222 area (buffalo) and they currently have 2 6MT DEMO/TEST DRIVE cars available. Both in the colours I would want, black and graphite grey with low mileage (1,700 and 2,500 I think). Its my understanding that these are beaten on pretty badly so I have to take that into account.

I got a call back from them and they said that they would let them go for $35,900 which to me is a little high. My only requirements are that the car is manual transmission and that it has the sports package (bigger rims I guess?). Navi, trunk tray and all that BS doesn't interest me. I priced out the car on infinity.com and it came out at roughly the quoted price for the demos.

So my question: How much should I be paying for a used 2006 6MT G35C w/ only the sports package?

Moreover, I saw that the invoice price for them new is 31,XXX. Is there any way I can get close to that? New 07 models should be coming in the next few months, Im assuming.

Thanks.

That seems to me like WAY to much, especially for a demo car. When I was in the market last year (Nov.) I went to a dealer that had 700 miles on the car and they were willing to knock off $1000 at least because the manager had used the car for personal use. I didn't get that car because I didn't buy the car for a few months later. My car total came to 36k even out the door with sport suspension, and premium package, and auto so yours should be way cheaper. I would say at most in the $32000 range simply because of the milage. Good luck

I agree. I think its way too much for such a car, although I think it includes the Premium Package (<-- is this worth it?).

I would be willing to give them around $32,000 for it, but if NEW totally base models invoice at $31,734 (carsdirect), then that has an affect as well.

Hmm, not sure which way to take it. I live in Canada so its not like I can just go down there anytime and talk to the guy.

Im not in Buffalo but near the boarder (Im a Canadian eh).

Autoplace infiniti are the ones offering me the BS pricing on the demos.

If its not too much to ask, can you post how much you paid OTD or msg me the price.
