Modding Leased Coupes?

correct me if im wrong...cold air intake means it goes below the engine compartment which means it is not a z-tube and JWT pop charger combo, nor is it the Z-tube and stillen high flow box combo. if you have a CAI, like nismo or injen...you will not need a z-tube it is all part of the intake system...any combo with the z-tube is essentially not "true" CAI....

"Im planning on adding a Z-Tube + CAI, Mrevs, and maybe an aftermarket exhaust."
With a leased vehicle, you can install these mods. When the lease is over, you have to return the car to stock form before giving it back to the dealership. Also while they are doing typical routine maintenance such as engine and oil change, and air filter replacement (every 15K miles), make sure the mods do not block any access to perform their routine maintenance. You might even have to bring a tech the special air filters that go with the afteramarket air intake setup you're gonna use.
While driving the car, you have to assume everything is going to run smoothly. If your enegine dies or something and the dealership CAN prove it was the modifications that caused the problem, the repair costs aren't covered under warranty and you have to pay it out for your own pocket (which is (cost of parts) + (Amount of time to do the job, based on their hourly rate). You have to be careful because the Infiniti techs work for like $80-$120 an hour. Fortunately, if you have Exhaust and engine mods, and your CD changer stops working, obviously the modifications did not cause the problem with the CD Changer so that gets repaired under warrwanty.
Finally, when you return the car at the end of the lease, you have to make sure all the original parts are back on the car and in stock form and that everything was reinsalled properly.
The dealership will then put the car up for sale and he is selling under the impression that the car runs the way it is supposed to run from the factory. If anything happens, the new buyer and the dealership can come after you if something is wrong with the areas of the car that were modified.
Dealership may try to scare or warn you that your warrnaty is void but that's not true all. By doing mods, the warranty adapts to this based on the situation and usually if mod causes problem, customer pays to repair. If mod does not cause problem, Infiniti pays to repair under warranty.
