Dealer gave me an Interesting quote.

Ok so im down to the final stages; getting a deal finalized. Funny I havent even met this sales person. I found it better to deal with them via email until I found an interesting deal.

So my local dealer is offering me $412 a month + tax (8% tax = 445/month total).

This deal is "500 over invoice". I cant go into details with the other factors but I will as soon as it becomes final.

Remember people, this is all with a 06 G35 coupe 6MT, Premium Package, and Aero Package. This is all assuming a 4000 downpayment (I might change my mind, but just use this as reference to judge the quote). 12K miles per year.

This is for a 3 year lease

What do you guys think???

.

hahahah youre getting anally ripped apart dude. 4000 downpayment?! you might as well buy the car man. I paid 2700 down and thought i got ripped off. I'm paying 367 a month, 12k a year for 2 years. granted no aero package but still...go buy the spoiler then after.. 4k is ridiculously high with that high of monthly payments...

Didnt I say use it as reference only? Im thinking of going down to 2k

I calculated your payments with the info you gave me, and your right on target; 367 a month.

Now I calculated my car, and it came out to around the same price as I stated (445). So how is that a rip off? The only difference is you have a residual value of 71% (2 years) and I have a 58% (3 years). No rip off there, I think you spoke before calculating

Were you leaning over...............?

You need to shop around......don't forget in a very
few weeks the '07s will be in showrooms. The price
you quoted might be ok on an '07 but not on an old
'06..........

Thanx for the info...

Im so confused. First everyone told me they were great #'s, now here they are telling me they are "decent" or "ok", even worse "rip off!".

These numbers make sence to me though, they all add up (even with the edmunds calculator and smartmoney calculator)

Can anyone clarify this?

Now im so confused

PS. 500 over invoice for an 06 is good right?

the price of 500 over invoice is ok. but your lease numbers are really horrible!..i got mine..with $0 down payment, but 1500 out of pocket(fees, taxes, 1st months, all upfront), 06 5AT G35c, premium, aero, rear active steer, xm radio, sports, 415/month, 12k a year for 12 months. i thought your numbers were great at first, then i see 4000 down payment, no way!

So with a 4K downpayment, what are you guys suggesting my monthly payments should be assuming all my other options were the same as stated above?

Is this dealer ripping me off? Or is it just that giving a 4K downpayment makes my lease numbers horrible?

I have great credit (730) but the dealer hasnt actually ran my credit report.

Hope you guys can help me even more...

Oh by the way, the dealer didnt ask me for any downpayment. I was the one who brought up the idea of a 4000 dollar downpayment...

i dont know where your located, but with the 12 month lease going around why would you even consider a 3 year deal??? the 07 coupe will be out next summer so you can take that for 3 years when your car goes back

then get it, their 36 month lease isnt as appealing, but the price sounds right...especially for a MT car

im paying 510 (includes CA 8.25% sales tax) a month for 24 months. the money factor isnt favorable in the 36 month lease right now. it drops significantly.

zero cap cost reduction, just drive off. dont ever put money down cause if you crash your car, say bye bye to the down.

car is 06 g35 coupe 6mt, premium, navi, splash guards, stupid $80 trunk mat, and wheel locks.

Your deal sucks...

I was offered an '06 6mt coupe with premium and aero, 36 months, 12k a year...

1850 down, 466 a month.

Who cares, convert it to real numbers. Find out for how much they're giving you the car (sounds like $500 over invoice), and then the cost of money (money factor or equivalent APR). After that it's just a game of monthly payment versus down payment (assuming fixed residual values).
