Correct price for 2003 coupe with lots of miles.

I am curious about the Kelly Blue book listing for this car. Basically due to the high number of miles I drive, I have never been this right side up on a car before paying it off.

2003 OB coupe AT, premium package 78,000 miles. The car is clean with nice tinted windows. I listed the condition as "good". I have mods on the car, but saved all parts and likely would put those back on if I sold it. I also have 19" Volk GT-7's and would likely put the original 17's back on so I did not include any of those items in the value. I also would likely have the few minor dings removed to make the car more attractive for resale. The interior is very clean except for the drivers floormat.

I owe ~13-14K on the car.

KBB comes back with a private party sell price(ie not the trade in price and not the retail value) of $19,305.

The problem I have is that I can find no listings of a car for sale with that many miles on it. Most have half that. However those cars are selling on ebay for $24-26K. So I am wondering if that $19K figure is really accurate at all.

if you wait and sell it privately you'll definitely get a decent amount around $18-$19k. if you trade it in i would say around $14k would be the galves wholesale book

Why don't you vary the miles but keep the specs the same. That way you can see what mileage does to the resale value of the car.

wholesale is 20,300 and retail is 24,925.... dealers usually give wholesale at max for trade ins and.... private party usuallys is between the 2 but you can see what you can get for it.
