Would you own a G far away from a dealership?

Because of my job, I live in the middle of no where and it is a good 4 hours drive to get to the closest Infiniti dealership.

This sucks because I allways wanted a 2k4 G35 coupe.

So I was wondering, are you guys going to the dealership very often for warranty work or if it's not so bad? Any of you guys living this far from their dealership?

you could always take it to a nissan dealership. i'm still under warranty so i get that work done when i'm in for oil changes/scheduled maintenance. so far i've only had the window motors replaced.

I've aready called the closest Nissan dealer and they can do basic stuff like oil changes but they can't do anything too advanced or warranty work.

And I'm doing the basic stuff like oil changes myself anyway.

I live an hour away from my dealership. It isn't anything like your four hour hike but it can still be a nuisance. I've only had to take my FX for warranty work twice. One was a faulty heated seat switch and the other was a voluntary recall. I visit the dealer twice a year on average so its not that bad. Of course it can be more because I take my FX up there to have the oil change etc. You said you will be doing that yourself so its shouldn't be a huge deal. It all depends on if your schedule is flexible enough to support a four hour journey just in case something goes wrong with the car. These are reliable cars but things do happen. I hope this helps somewhat.

I haven't had much use for the dealer since I bought the car.
I have taken it in once and they would not work on it any how due to a spacer.
