Best time to buy 07 g35 coupe?

Hi guys,

With all the hubbub over the new G37, I'm still back here admiring the old g35 coupe. I'm just wondering, when would be the best time to buy the g35 coupe now that the g37 is coming out?

If I buy it right now, can I reasonably expect $1000 under invoice? If I wait until August when the G37 is released, could I get something ridiculous like $2-3k under invoice for the 07 G35 coupe?

Thanks.

i hope you mean 1,000 off the msrp, because no dealer is going to lose 1,000 dollars to sell a g35.

In past two years around this time, the G35 were going for about 500 over invoice and now Infiniti offers 1.5k rebate, so I'd say 1k below invoice is "resonable" to expect.

If you're not picky about color/options then by all means wait until the G37's show up on the lot - they will probably negotiate pretty hard to get rid of old stock - assuming there are any left.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Yeah, I just assumed that since this wasn't simply a refresh coming out, but a whole new generation, I could get some great markdowns. I know I'm definitely buying in late June, but I now have to choose between an 07 g35 sedan or a g35 coupe, haha.
