Lightbulb 2006 G35 Coupe for $26.6k.. should I get it?

I found someone selling a 06 Black G35 Coupe 13k miles for $32k.. but I haggled him down to $26.6k.

It comes with Premium + Sports Package (19" wheels)

It almost sounds too good to be true.. and I just need someone to tell me if it's a good deal or not.

The only drawback is that the interior is stone. I'm a fan of black, but at the price.. I'm thinking it's worth it.

Knowing G37 is coming in a few months.. I'm not too sure.

There are no dings.. and car is clean.

Should I do it?

Is this the person you're referring too? You posted in it.

This is a different one.

BTW : How much does it cost for a mechanic to check?

If that falls through, you have this as a back up maybe...

Ok carfax is clean.

and + this car is still under warranty.. should I still spend some money on a mechanic?

Well it's going to be $26k + tax so like $28k

Any thoughts on the stone interior color?

I have the Stone, cause they stopped offering the Graphite Interior for the IP's, and it's a hell of a lot better than that Wheat they offer. It's still a nice 2-tone look w/ partial Graphite, and you can put in the Graphite floor mats to continue the 2-tone look, plus you can re-do the Liner and other pieces if you'd like. At first I wasn't too happy cause I wanted the Graphite, but after looking at that Wheat and what it could have been, I love the Stone and couldn't be happier.

I can't agree with you more. I was actually offered a 05 G35 Coupe for $25k.. great deal.. and was about to buy until I saw the wheat color.. I .. debated for a long time.. but I just couldn't get over the interior.

I'm in the debating stage for the stone color now.. but I don't think it's bad... I prefer the black.. but the price is so good.

i think thats an awesome deal, kinda high in mileage though for a 2006....but i say have it checked very well by a mechanic making sure it wasnt an everyday racer lol, and take it from there

that is an EXCELLENT price. i'd definately do what the others said and get a carfax report as well as having a mechanic/autobody tech take a look at the car.

Important question is, is it Auto or 6MT? That's a huge price drop going from $32K to $26K. Unless the person is in dire need of money or knows nothing about cars. I'd ask lots of questions before sealing the deal.
