need help deciding over a 2003 G35 coupe or 350z

i was hoping to lease a new G35 coupe but i figured out its a waste of money while i can get a 2003 and keep it for a while.....my dilemma is that i want a 2003 G35 coupe but im also looking at 2003 350z's because they are cheaper.....i can't decide what to get.....im leaning toward the 350z because i will be left with more money for mods and i could get one for around 16-17k.....the only thing thats keeping me from getting it is that i heard alot of people have lots of problems with 350z's.....oil burning quick, tranny problems.....and the infamous suspension problem(tire feathering) creating premature wear on tires and noise.......does anyone know if a fix is out for that suspension problem? would a good alignment correct it and is it anything i should worry about? what else should i look into before buying one? please help me with my decision.

some G's just like some Z's have those same exact problems.. the 03's didnt have as many oil consumption problems... it was more so on the rev-up(05+) 6mts and not the autos... they are the same powertain from motor to tranny so same.. the G is a bit smoother because of its longer wheel base and besides the luxuries and extra 2 seats... they are practically the same car

well of course the price is a bit different. It came with better warranties as well.. heated seats.. most likely a sunroof.. havent seen too many G's without one.

i had the same problem. i couldnt decide on a g or z. the g35 is nicer. it has a trunk. the 350z is like the honda civic now. everyone has one. just my opinion.

Look on Ebay and keep an eye out. I purchased my 03 6-speed about a year ago with only 31000 miles and paid $20500. Way under bluebook. He didnt sell it on ebay so i contacted him and we worked out a deal. It really was just a basic car buy i have added. Spoiler, mud guards and many many extras. So look around and take your time. Believe me if you only plan on keeping it a few years. It will be much easier to get rid of the G. Good Luck.
