Talking HELP!!! Need Advise on G35 purchase

Ok! Here goes my situation! I'm new to this site and want to introduce myself first before I start out. My name is Mike and I'm coming from a popular Lexus site as well as hidplanet.com (same screen name there too). I own a pearl white Coach Edition 99 ES300 with about 99K on the dash that I want to sell and replace with an Ivory Pearl Infiniti G35 by the end of the year.

Last week I resigned from my career at Enterprise Rent A Car (thank God) and begin training for my new job in pharmaceutical sales this upcoming Monday. This means more $$ to finally afford a G35 coupe and more free time to enjoy one lol.

My plan is to purchase an 03-04 IP coupe this December but first I want to actually sell my ES300. I owe more than KBB predicts its worth (exc cond) and I think I can get more for it private party vs dealer trade-in.

So what I've been doing is checking autotrader, cars.com and the ebay to get an idea as to how much they're running on avg. The funny thing is that I'm finding cars with 25K mileage all the way to 50K going about the same price give or take 1,000. Is this normal around the country or only here in Chicago where I live? How much are people here actually paying for their coupes used? And for my last question, I'd like to know what's the best way to go about purchasing a G35 coupe...i.e dealership or private party and which part of the country has the lowest price? I don't mind a road trip for the best bang for my buck lol (plus I'd be eligible to take vacation time to do it too hehe)

The coupes hold their value very well and yes buying used often doesn't save you the massive amounts that it does with some other cars. I would say find a car broker or do nationwide searches for cars. I'm sure there are areas where you can get more car for your money.

Check Luxury Motors (their website), they have a dealership in Chicago. They have some decent deals on G35C, 25k for an 03-04. For an IP, I'm not sure if you could get one for that price, but keep an open eye on trader, (set up auto alerts), and you should get your G35C for a decent price.
