Another question about leasing and model year

My assumption is that when the 2008 G35x comes out, the residual value will be higher than a current 2007. So are lease rates generally a little lower at the introduction of the newe model year? or do they just raise the money factor to keep payments a little higher?

The residual value will be naturally higher and if anticipated sales volume is not good the lease rate may start out being subsidized.

On the G37 the lease rates are high and the residual value is realistic. This makes a bank lease more attractive.
