06 for 31500$ good or bad

I'm looking at an 06 coupe, automatic with 19000 miles on it. It has everything except active steer. I can have it out the door for 31500 which includes 8.5% tax, licensing and any other bs fees. The only problem that it seems to have is the passenger side window motor.

Good or bad?

Run away!

With the 08's coming out now there is no way I would spend that much on a used car. Have you checked out the Blue Book value of it? Is it dropping dramatically now? If it isn't then wait a few months after the 08 comes out. It will drop considerably then!

sounds like a good deal. Sure you can wait a few month and save 500 bucks, but who wants to buy a sports car in the winter?
I got my DG 06 Auto with 25k miles, Aero, Permium, Sports for $29k out the door about a month ago. it was worth to me to buy the car now, instead of waiting to save a few bucks. its your call to make

Well I ended up getting it. The car looks brand new. The price was 28.5. Bluebook was 36.3. I am not interested in the g37. I think the g35 looks better.

So you bought the car with nothing on it for 36200? Doesn't sound like much of a deal to me

Are you saying the blue book on an 06 was $36,300 or the original sticker was $36,300? That car is two model years old. It would have to be holding its value “REALLY” well to be worth that.

Honestly, I bet you could buy a brand new 07 for not much more than right now. I don’t think I could stomach that much for a car with 19K miles on it. Did you consider the 07 Sedan? You can get some pretty awesome deals on those right now.

The car is "1 model year" old. The car itself is exacty 1 year old. Either way..check out the value yourself at kbb.org.

I thought about the sedan but I'm not ready for a 4 door yet . This thread is pointless now anyway.

You completely missed the point. Once the G37 becomes readily available on the market (most initial shipments have already been sold...around here anyway), the last gen G35 coupe values will take a nose dive. If you were willing to hold out a tad bit longer, you'd of probably gotten a better deal.

Regardless, enjoy the ride. The great thing about the G35 coupe is that it has styling that seems to never get old with age. Similar to Porsche 911's. All of my friends were telling me to jump on the G35 coupe for that exact same reason, but I'm glad I got 4 doors and I really love the styling of the new sedans, which is more than what I could say for the last gen sedan. I never really liked those. Post some pics of her when you get a chance.
