07' G35 Coupe trade for G37?

hey, since the day i saw the G37 it makes me wish that i bought this instead of the G35 Coupe. Is there any way i could trade my 2007 G35 coupe for a 2008 G37? My g35 is fully loaded AT with all the packages and has 2800 miles on it, its basicly brand new. How much money will i loose if i plan to trade in for the G37? or should i just stick to the G35? im sooo confused!

thanks for the help.

stick to the G35.. your going to get screwed no matter how new your G35 is. Once your G35 rolls off the lot, the value goes down. and plus.....

whats so special about that spaceship anyhow?

The quickest and most definite answer that you can get? is sat down with dealership and see what kinda of numbers they come up with.

The KBB for trade-in value on your G35 is 35.4k with excellent condition and 33.5k for good condition, my guess is that they will only offer you 33k for your G35, assume you paid about 42k OTD for your G35, depends on how much you put down? you'd be owing about 8~9k (upside down on your currnet loan), which they will be rolling them into your new contract, about 150~200 more per months, is it worth that much extra money? only you can answer that.

Personally, I believe its a waste of money. Trading a new car for a new car is money down the drain; especially since its not a huge upgrade in regards to price/value (similarly priced)

IMO, I wouldn't even trade my 06 Coupe. It's good enough and I prefer the looks.

But if you really wanted the G37 and don't mind the extra loss of money... go for it.

The G37 is an excellent vehicle. But as for me, its not enough of a jump for me to want to trade.

Goodluck!

PS. If I remember, the 1st year is a car's biggest depreciation year. That's not helping your cause.

i agree w/ everybody when i say you should hold off. Not only is it the first year model (work out bugs) but you will also pay way over MSRP for the first few on the road...so thats an even bigger loss of $$. Now if your like Donald Trump and going from a E350 to an E55 is chump change...then by all means go for it!!

Does the '07 G35 Coupe work with the other 03-06 G35 Parts?
I'm hoping it does 'cause I plan on selling my '06 G35 Coupe for a '07 G35 Coupe, and I have like TONS of parts in my room. If you guys could let me know ASAP, that'd be awsome.
'Cause I know the G35S has the dual intake and the '07 G35 Coupe still has the single intake.

Nevermind I found out the answer myself, and it is yes.
I'd keep the '07 G35. Personally, I like the looks of the G35 better than the G37.
Also, I think the G35 is a bit more sportier, and the G37 kind of drifted into the more Luxury catagory.

Thats not saying much when the G37 Coupe is expected to have the best residual value of any vehicle on the market. It also won the ALG Residual value award for 2008.
But yes, you will take a beating on the trade, but it happens all the time. Its amazing how some people operate. I do suggest keeping your coupe, its a great car. But if you can take the hit on your trade go for it. Good luck!

Yeah I kept thinking that to myself because in no way is an 07 G35 worth 35K now...especially with 09s coming out now... its 2 yr old now
