Need some advice on lease

I have 31 months left on a 39 month lease on an 07 G coupe. I was wondering if there is any way i could trade it in for a G sedan at this point? And would it be worth my while? Reason being is that I'm expecting a newborn in February 08. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

You can trade your leased car at any time (before the term is up, of course) for any car at anywhere, it works same as the financed car...Its unlikely it will worth you while to do it, call up your leasing company for the "pay off" amount and go to few dealership to see what they will give you for your trade and what type of deal you can get on the new car, I would wait til next summer before you trade in for new G sedan, cus you can get better deal on it than early in the year.

It may or may not be possible. AFAIK you can't show negative rollover on a new lease (I assume you're planning to lease the G Sedan you're interested in) therefore the dealership would need to artificially "raise" the prices of both cars in order to absorb as much negative as they can with the new car. And even then there's no guarantee they'll be able to absorb enough negative using a new car. In other words, you'll need a huge down payment. Either that or you'll need to consider a pre-owned '07 Sedan if you can find one. In any case...you'll be buried...BIG TIME.

I was thinking about getting in an 07 g sedan lease. Prices should be reasonable at the end of the year No?

Probably, but selection may not be so good.
