1 sure way to tell....The Factory Aero Package (means installed at the factory in Japan) has no third brake light in the rear windshield....Some dealer installed or installed at the port spoilers will generally have the third brake light in the rear windshield but it will probably be disconnected and not functioning.

Good luck!!!

wait so if it comes with the third brake light it is not the aero package with the diffusers underneath the car is there a way i can look underneath and spot the diffuser if possible can someone post a complete set of pics of what the aero package is suppose to consist of..and i am talking about a 06 G35 Coupe I would get a 05 if available only if the 06 headlights can fit it.... Also what rims should my G come with and how to tell if it has the premium package because Dealers really don't know what they are selling and i don't want to make them to wise as well so they can jackup the price.. i don't really care for the navigation i will purchase a garmin. So if anyone can let me know what to look for to spot different packages in the G series Aero is a must though. Also which year do u guys think is better i love the look of the 05 spoiler but i like the 06 all around i kno it is my personal preference but i just want some opinions and info if you dont mind thanks cant wait to get my G so i can

Mine is an '06 loaded with aero 6MT with sport package. Heres what it looks like and the spoiler was installed at the factory because there is no third brake like in the window. I believe the spoiler is optional from the aero package. Not sure tho.

I'm not sure what the opinion of others is on here but my opinion, and that of my infiniti service manager, is that it's hard to shift the car in the lower gears. Apparently it isn't uncommon for people to come back to infiniti to replace their clutch & flywheel at 20k miles. I've driven stick for 10 yrs (Eclipse & Audi A4) and this car is by far the hardest when it comes to getting into first gear or going from first to second. It's unforgiving if you aren't paying attention.

Yea, I never drove stick either but I ride quads so I have a gist on how to do it. What keeps people away is the word "stick" or "manuel". People are always intimidated instead of trying it for themselves. Get a 6MT!
