New here: Convince me why G35 > others

hello im new to the forums, and I would like to know more about G35c and what to look out for. On a side note Im also considering an '01-'03 M3, since Ive really been a BMW fanatic since I got the my E36. It will be for around what I can get a G for maybe low-mid $20Gs.

The G Im in the market for would probaby by around the '04 model.. and im already particular that it would have to have black interior and brembo brakes which comes only with sports package I'd imagine? So if you could let me why this car is THE ONE. Ofcourse the Pros and Cons?

If you don't know, you never will.

To know one is to own one. Or should I say "pwned" BY one....

If you need convincing to buy something other than a BMW, and you're a BMW fanatic, I say just stick with what's safe and buy another BMW.

If' you're looking for a fast car with some torque, you will be surely dissapointed. But if you're looking for a nice cruiser then by all means, get it.

power, torque, sound, style, and interior that's liveable.. really a nice classy yet sporty head turner - daily driver I can trust.

The M3 will have more mileage by around another 30k miles and out of warranty so it could get expensive to maintain, but it's got more at 333hp.

The G35 will have much less mileage on the clock still probably be under warranty no worries about spending hundreds, but less hp at 280hp.

I will probably keep the car for 4-6years on which ever one I chose.. and I am going part-time college but full-time job at finance department at one of the major casino/resort here in Vegas. Decisions..

I used to have an e36 328is and was a member on bimmerforums, so I am not biased towards either when I say this.
if power/handling/trackin is not ur #1 priority, get the G for better satisfaction, and more compliments.
If you plan to go FI with either, either will be fast but the M will be faster.

You can't let other people tell you which car is THE ONE for you

This is SOOOOO true.

It may sound sappy, but this car "spoke to me". I just HAD to have it. I don't know why. It's funny before I had it, I would see them (not too often here in South Texas) and it would snap my neck to look at it. Just the way they would slowly roll through a parking lot with everyone looking at it.

No offence to BMW people, but they are "a dime a dozen" around here. You almost see as many 3 series BMW's as you to Toyota Camry's. I wanted something different. Just look at the "Texas G riders" thread. Not too many in Corpus Christ and there are only two in my little burg.

I have been driving it 3 years now and I still get excited every time I do. Maybe its because it's my wife's car and I don't get to drive it all that often but it still give me the chills sometimes.

WOW, not to be an ***, but thats why every country hates us (Americans).....because we want everything easy. Why dont you choose what you want, and stop looking for people to make your decisions for you. (no offense)

When I first saw a G coupe, i fell inlove and put my mind to getting one. I dont want any other car but that one. I waited almost 2 years until my financies was good so getting one wouldnt be a problem. People keep saying that i shouldnt get it. I'm the type of person that isnt happy until he gets what he wants. So follow your heart, not people's advices.
