Dallas Dealers Pasted on purchasing
Crest Infiniti: D- based on their lot feeling somewhat high pressure, and these are luxury cars so they should be very low pressure in my opinion. A dealer I left a message with never called me back to come and purchase the car. He didnt want to share the commission and called me the next day and tried to get me in the dealership.
Sewell Infiniti B+ great dealership, however did not understand the importance of speed, I honestly think this is the best overall dealership, but based on purchasing, they are lacking the speed needed to make a deal fast. The down side was I told them what I was getting at another dealer and they used it to negotiate off, why would I negotiate off another dealer's price, you should beat that price. Sales people were very nice, and I think this place is the best for service, feels very nice. However they need to really do what the customer wants, and not go into the whole "back and forward" game. I walked out, and glad I did.
Grubbs Infiniti (I know you sponsor here so get ready for this one
) A- I called them, spoke to a sales person, told them what I was looking for, got a call back, they had something that met my requirements, made me a price offer (invoice, hope that is ok to divulge) and an OTD price, which sounded legit. They got me in and out in 1.5 hrs or so. Felt solid and quick, got what I was promised, not need to really negotiate, didnt care to, a few people got better deals, but that is okay.
1. Since Grubbs is where I bought, I will expand on this one, they put wheel locks and nitrogen in all the tires, and claim it to be a 120 dollars charge. I know the nitrogen cost next to nothing, and the wheel locks are 20, I felt a little deceived, but NOT AT ALL UNHAPPY!!!
2. They were very nice and got me out of the finance office quick, offered my some items, and I declined, and was not pressured, ie. the extended warranty.
3. Trade in value, the WORST in the industry in my opinion, got offered 3K less then anywhere, Sewell (who was only 200 off invoice) was over 2K better on the trade in.
Now a lot of my friends are asking why I bought from here, when Sewell called and offered me a better price? PRINCIPLE, Grubbs was straight forward with me, and I felt they would treat me right the whole way (a friend of mine told me Sewell would have too and I believe him, and perhaps I had a bad experience? the sales guy was great) however I feel I can sell my Honda for more private party.
Regardless, there is my post, I will offer more after I service. LOVE MY G ...
BTW first post here, hopefully it brings some insight to those looking for a new G, anyone in Dallas, looking, please feel free to PM me, and I will direct you to the right guy at Sewell and Grubbs, if interested (I would assume that is okay to do privately).
Enjoy
