Lease Return

So its not even been a year yet and Im already dreading the moment when I have to return my car. Im in a 2 year 15k miles/year deal. In April I will hit a year and I cant believe this but currently as I type this, im sitting at approx. 16k miles. Its been all work commute and nothing else. The car physically is in tip top shape. It has been Zaino'd the minute I brought it home. Only thing is a slight curb rash on the lip of one rim. Besides that im looking into being atleast 10K miles over when its all said and done (worst case that is)

Now my question is what options do I have as far as early lease returns or if my intentions are to lease another g37? Would the dealership be some what forgiving or I will have to pay up even though im returning for another Infiniti? Also what little hidden charges would I be looking at when I do return the car? thanks guys

cant believe im already thinking about this..i should be enjoying my car

In your case I would "trade" it in before the term is up, when you trade it in for other car and it does matter at which dealership or for whatever car you want, they wont charge you for the over mileage, yes your trade in value will be lowered if you have higher than usual mileages but it isnt going to be something like 25 cents per mile.

I would recommend you keep the car for the term of the lease.

I would love to sell you a car, but it wouldn't be to your benefit.

my $.02

If you will be leasing another Infiniti, they will give you a $500.00 credit towards your mileage. What is your over mileage charge?

The only break you'd get right now, is the 1000 dollar owner loyalty.

The painful part here, is that unless you put a LARGE down payment on your lease, you're going to have a payoff value higher than what the cars current fair market value is.

Send me a PM and I'll go over this in more detail with you.
