It would be nice to have one that comes with it, but I just put a D3 in mine.

I've never had a car w/nav. But I have a Garmin GPS which I can take from car to car, including rentals in unknown cities. It works for me.

get the nav. unit. i like it because it comes with a few other features like the "leaf" and you can program oil changes. Mostly it looks sick when you turn your car on and it pops up.......

Anyone know how to make my NAV capable of doing shlt while driving, if so PM me. That has to be one of the worst things on my nav, can't even input an address while driving.

no, it's a safety measure

post pics of your 3" drop. i can't imagine you're driving that fast anyway if you're slammed that low

This is getting off topic now. But anywho, I sold the rims and now rolling on stocks. And yes, I raised it a little because the body was way too low with the 18s. It will be back down when my new wheels get in.

Here is the link to the pic, rather than threadjacking posting as an image. HAHAHA.

I suppose I can correct my sig, I don't have the time attacks either. lol.

just bumping this thread to see what people think still.

i'm torn between getting no nav or getting a nav. i've owned a G before and loved the features.

Maybe other nav HU can do the same thing as the stock navi, such as oil change scheduling, maintenance, gas mileage?

You guys think Net Cost will be cheaper by getting DD kit + AC controller + Navi HU or just sticking with stock navi?

thanks d00ds

i also have a question.
when nav is added to the car (when bought new) eg in 06 or 07, how much did the navigation package cost then?
thanks

The stock navi is usually always around $1900 new. The 07+ has more options and integration like xm nav traffic

Could you explain what additional changes are ? Traffic is a live update ? Does it work on 3g network ? I am not sure
Thanks
