hi, i am new to this forum and hopefully i will become an active member. at this moment i am on the hunt for a 05-06 black interior g35 6mt. i came across a nice red on black 6mt that i plan on looking at tonight.

the question i have about this particular G35 is the interior trim. as you can see there is a red strip that is across the dash. is this an aftermarket insert or is it a factory option?

turn away from it or easy fix? interior snap on trim? what do you guys think?

Well, i dont know about switching out, but that sure aint the stock trim haha

 

thanks for the quick reply! i really dont mind if it's just an aftermarket add on since i can always remove it and bring it back to the stock look. does anyone here have more info on this? is it a factory option?

 

It's an OEM piece that comes in a brushed stainless steel finish. It pops right off. Would take you 10 seconds to change.

 

thanks, i'll check the car out tonight... as long as it's not painted on and it's something that i can bring back to original. it's all good...
