Don't buy a modded car. Caveat emptor, buyer beware.

I was going to buy a 07 Subaru Limited STI and the car had a lot of miles for being 1 year old. As I was asking questions I learned a lot about the seller and it was his daughter in laws car but her husband was into racing. The outside of the car had seen a lot of curb rash and lots of strange dings in strange places. Not normal slap a car door into the side ding I mean gouges and meteor dings. Now if your wife lets you drive her car and you are some wanna be (Fill in the blank with your favorite racer) would you not wind that bad boy out?

Q. What is the difference between a a rental car and a 4x4 all terrain vehicle?

A. A rental car can GO ANY FREAKING WHERE!

What is the difference between a moded G35 with a turbo to boost the car to over 400HP and a non modded G35?

Figure it out, save your money and buy elsewhere. You have been warnned.

If everything were fine, it would be a STEAL.

But I would never buy Coupe that has or is forced induction. You never know what it has been through.

06 G35 Coupes with low milage sell at 26k+. Just as a reference...

As everyone said, its a bomb waiting to go off.
Stock parts are not meant to take FI for long periods of time, if you are buying second hand, you don't know about the work that went into it or how it was driven, for all you know, a year from now, the thing bites it...then its not so good.
If you're doing a project, do it yourself, no matter what the deal "seems" like.
