Selling my supercharged Civic for a G.

I want to build a 07+ G Sedan with forced induction. I'm having trouble with a few details to make my final decision on which model. I know the Sport 6spM would be a better platform to start, but what about the X? Does anyone know what the 0-60 times are to compare the S & X? Will the X handle the extra power with out modification? Any info and help will be greatly appreciated. I know all there is to know about Honda but I thought it was time to grow up and get a "Big Boy" car!

This thread really should be in the forced induction section. And because I already know someone else is gonna say it, the search function is your friend.

what's wrong with hondas?

The awd is slower 0-60, but if 0-60 is your concern, then you're probably looking at the wrong car.

No, I think this a great topic for this thread. This is information that will change my mind(or not) about what G I(or someone else) will buy.

Riverside,
Thank you for the info. 0-60 is not that important, just one of many ways to get performance numbers that will vary between the two models. If you have some other numbers that distinguish the two from one another that would be great.

Selling the Honda for $9,000 I've got over $20,000 in the thing. Custom everything, stage 2 blower.......blah blah... done with Honda, love Honda motors but time to start with a better all-around platform.

I'm not trying to sell my car in this thread, just showing you what i'm getting rid of to get a G.

The AWD is slightly slower, due to the fact that you can't get a 6MT, and is heavier. I'm not a drag racer at all, but from my understanding, you do not want any wheelspin launching a G.

Power output of the RWD/AWD is idential, but you do have more loss to the drivetrain in the AWD.

If you are planning on modding, I'd suggest the RWD, to my knowledge, there arn't many (if any) FI AWD G's out there, so I'd say the drivetrain is unproven as far as taking a ton of power.
