My guess would be they wont be selling you any brand new car for 30k out the door...Maybe closer to 32-33k...

Unless the mileage is excessive, probably not.

Can't you get an identical car with less miles? or are you looking for a rare configuration?

I would ask them what they would take to get a 1.5 year old car off their lot?

well if it has 85 miles on it, then i doubt it was driven a lot... i would be more worried about the fact that it sat on the lot for so long...

What are some things to look for if it's been sitting that long

Possible tire damage including flat spots and dry rot. Same thing goes for every gasket in the engine and trans. Now, that is probably extreme and I highly doubt that there is any issue with the car.

Offering cash does not sweeten a deal for a dealer, they make money off the financing.

Buying a new/old G35....HAHA

You have nothing to lose by offering them less for the car, all they can do is
make a counter offer....if they really want to sell it. Offer them $31,5 and
see what kind of response you get....Good Luck! Let us know how you make
out with this G35....

Just go offer them something. The worst thing they can say is "no". More than likely they'll counter offer you at which point you do the same in return.
