LEASE: 2008 G35 AWD w/ Premium Package ... or wait for 09?

275 a month!?

Fine Print:
24mo closed end lease. 12,000 miles yr. Total due at signing includes $2,999
down cash or trade, first payment. Security Deposit waived. Total cost of
lease $9,599. Excludes taxes, license, and fees.

I've never leased a car before, but heard that your not suppose to put money down on one.
What kind of hidden fees should I look out for?
What kind of monthly payments would I be looking at with $0 down?

Is it worth it to buy an 08 now, or wait for the 09 G37 coming out in late fall?

your looking at a luxury auto lease much different from a normal auto lease. You looking at more expensive fees when your return the car at the end of the lease. If your a younger guy like myself it's a better option to buy outright.

Leases, SUCK! Biggest make I made to date was getting a leased Jetta. Stuff changed in my life, couldnt get out of the lease, had to drive the sh!+ much more than the allowed mileage. Got into an accident (not my fault). Tried to turn in the car at lease end, they told me I would need to pay em $4,000 because of mileage overages and excessive wear. Had to buy the sh+t, but now if I try to sell it, i'll have to eat about $3,000 because the car is worth much less than what I owe the bank.

DONT DO IT MAN, ITS JUST NOT WORTH IT. Buy a used 2007 G35 sedan.

If you are smart and read up on leases then they can be a great deal. The trick is to lease the right car at the right time. Right now the 08 G35 sedan is just about the best leasing option out there. The residual is high, Money Factor is very low, and they are definitely giving HUGE discounts on the price.

Try leasing a BMW right now! The rates on those are HORRIBLE!

Oh yea, if you don't understand "ALL" of the terms i used above then leasing is DEFINITELY a bad option for you.

I am currently in the process of buying a 14 month old 2007 G35. The people who originally leased it just discovered the fine print in the lease contract that they didn't read when they took delivery. Besides the vehicle pay off, Infiniti is hitting them with $1250 in additional fee's including $800 early lease termination, $300 smog & vehicle inspection, and $150 in bank fees. Ouch!
