Looking at a g35 coupe

I'm looking for a g35 coupe 6mt, but i have a few concerns. I have not had a manual car before (but i do know how to drive one) and i was wondering how easy the g's manual is to drive compared to other cars. I learned on a old mazda protege.

Also I know "BOSE!!!" is supposed to be a great car stereo but uhhh...no thanks... it honestly hurts my ears to listen to because it is so distorted and yes i listened to the "premium" version, how easy would it be to rip that **** out? Oh and what size are the speakers in the g coupe? I have aftermarket 6 1/2s in my current car.

i would say the g35 coupe 6mt's are a little tricky as far as shifting compared to other manual cars out there, especially 1st gear...i still stall at times lol....there's a few threads here that talk about it...trying searching it's ur bestfriend.

i think the bose in the back are 6x9's...theres like 6 or 8 speakers each set is a different size so your 1 set of 6.5s might fit somewhere.

The G is definitely different when it comes to the 6MT. The shift is short, the clutch can be tricky, and the gears sometimes clunk. It takes some getting used to, but you'll get the hang of it.

Once you get used to it how much does this affect the driving experience? Is it just like a minor problem or something that every time you shift you get annoyed with?

the best and only way to experience it, is to test drive the 6mt....it's not that big of a problem since people still buy the 6mt. you can only get so much info reading...just like playing video games, do you really get the full experience reading about how awesome gta4 is or would you rather play it for the real deal?

The year is not what concerns me, it is just the price. Well as long as the car is in good condition. $18k is what im looking for but it definitely needs to be at or under $20k.

If you want to buy dealer, definately try to find an Infiniti at a dealership it shouldnt be at such as a Toyota, or Ford dealership. That will save you tons of money. I just got my '05 for $21,600 out the door from a Toyota dealership.

Thanks for the advice man. This really sucks having to wait for a good deal but it will be worth it. Still not sure about color, I love the way black looks but i hear they are sooo hard to keep clean, and i am coming from a white car so i dont wash my car that often.
